Standing in Fire

Hello, I am an avid World of Warcraft player.

I started playing WoW somewhere around November of 2006 and have been continuously playing it for the last two years. I started with a Night Elf Druid, then a Warrior and a Warlock and finally landed on a Hunter. I then spent the better part of 80 levels being a Beast Master Huntard until I became a member of Red Dragons on Korialstrasz and learnt what it meant to not only raid, but to raid as a hunter. With Red Dragons, I was able to get to 10/12 in ICC before the guild basically fell apart.

I left for greener pastures and more raiding fun and joined Apotheosis on Eldre’Thalis. With them I have been able to down the Lich King in ICC 25 man with a few hard modes thrown in for fun.

The purpose of this blog is to post what I learn as I level each of my toons up to 80. The other reason I started this blog was to provide a vehicle through which I could practice my writing. So if you have any suggestions that you think would help, please send them my way.

Let me introduce to you my toons:

Eldre’Thalas

This is the first character I leveled all the way to 80 and, for the most part, he is still my favorite. Traellus is always the first character that I level up whenever a new expansion comes out and he is usually the first one that I raid on as well.

Raineshadow was the first toon I ever created way back in vanilla wow. I was able to get her to about level 16 and then stopped due to frustration over how slow the process was. Four years later and she is finally all grown up.
