As I level up my alts, one thing I have been noticing is a fair number of hunters who spend all their time doing melee instead of shooting things. This is just plain wrong. Hunters don’t do melee. Just like hunters don’t role on strength.
Tooling around on my level 13 mage, I found a level 80 hunter with two one-handed swords (I think) and no range weapon. This is as bad as a hunter who gems for strength or spell power. For those who are new to being a hunter, or are a level 80 Huntard, here are a few links to help you master your class.
- Practical Advice for brand new hunters – this is an excellent article that covers basically everything a brand new hunter needs to know.
- Hunter Guides – This is a list of guides covering almost every aspect of the Hunter class, including things like different tree builds, extreme soloing, and the absolutely necessary jump shot. This site is a must read for every hunter.
It is fun running all of the low level dungeons and seeing the different things people do. So far, Wailing Caverns is the only one I really hate, and have yet to complete. I have never been with a group that was strong enough or patient enough to reach the end of it. Watching hunters trying to tank and tanks who think they are indestructible and pull everything in the room are my two biggest pet peeves running dungeons.
